Crisis Erupt At Fed. Poly Nas. Over Lack of Electricity

Students of Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa (FPN) on Thursday remonstrated against lack of power in the institution for over a month now.
The students in their hundreds took to the school's gate with placards preventing entrance against principal officials, lecturers and students of the institution. (Nobody comes in, nobody goes out).
Voice of Nasarawa gathered that the unannounced protest which was staged by the head-officer of Man o' War in the institution had crippled academic activities in the school.
While addressing the protesters, the chairman of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) FPN chapter, Mr. Hassan, make plea to the students to sheath their sword with assurance that the issue will be addressed within 24 hours.
Rumors making the rounds has it that the school's light was disconnected following a 3 years unpaid bills by the incumbent rector of the institution, Dr. Saidu Abdulkadir Shettima.
Meanwhile, The president, Students Union Government (SUG) was denied speech by the protesters over allegations of fraternizing with the school's management to invoke hardship against the students.
